HARRY POTTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Picture of the Zonko's Joke Shop sign at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

The sign and display of Dervish and Banges

A moving picture of Professor Gilderoy Lockhart that was in the window of Scrivenshaft's (a book store) along with a few of his books including Magical Me, Travels With Trolls, and Year With The Yetty

Roofs of the Hogsmead and the Hogwarts castle

The upper wall-to-ceiling wand display inside olivanders. I waited with Corey for at least 40 minutes in 95 degree weather and like 75% humidity to get inside... Totally worth it!

Inside Zonko's Joke Shop, these are Pygmy Puffs

My Butterbeer. It was amazing!!!!! and no not alcoholic.

Inside Honeyduke's, the Bertie Bots Every Flavored Beans sign.

The gargoyle that guards the entrance to Dumbledore's office. This was in the castle and I saw it when I was waiting in line for the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.

-This ride was SOOOOOOOOOO cool! You got strapped into a car that had all of the four seats on one side with the seats facing out. As the ride began you were tilted back to face a screen. As the characters and action happened on the screen you were moved about in the same way. the coolest thing was that it wasn't just happening in one area, as well as moving in time with the screen you were also being moved around the castle. So you might start off watching a screen but suddenly you would be swung into real life. In part of it you were being chased by the Horntail so when it changed to real live you were confronted by the real thing that blew fire at you! It was soooooooo real! and terrifying at times because of it.

Crazy Phone Calls

First of all we are FINALLY in Orlando, Florida!!! About a half hour from our hotel. !ad news is that its pouring rain.

Anyway, I just spent the past 40 minutes talking to mac on the phone. The funny part is that I spent the entire time convincing my family that I was talking to Jonalyn. And even better... They believed me! Even after making the mistake of saying hi to Sam in the back ground I just convinced them that she was texting Samantha (Sam) Mulvey. So Mac and I discussed a number of things; from shoes to "boyfriends" to library books. All of this in third-person. I must say it was one of the more interesting conversations I've had in a while... Very bizzare! Then, once I hung up with "Jonalyn" I proceeded to call Mac back and pretended I had just spoken with Jonalyn. My parents checked my phone history after and were not impressed. Oh well I thought it was funny!
Alright, yesterday I typed two different entries and lost both of them! This is so aggervating!!!! Especially cause on dad's phone the alt key is where the shift key normally is. Which is ubber confusing. We just finished walking around Savannah, Georgia, and it was very HOT and HUMID! As soon as get computer access I'll uplode my pics. Mom says we'll be in Florida around 4:00 and I am SOOOOO ready to get out of this car! Maybe more later. Love ya'll

First Day in Maine

Yup… I know… this is uber lame, but I don’t have Internet access at the moment, so instead of wasting all this time I will blog without blogging on Microsoft word, then copy and paste onto my blog. So I guess what I’m trying to say is that by the time you’ll be reading this I will at least -temporarily- have service. So what did I do yesterday…

Don’t you hate it when you have so many ideas and you finally get a chance to write something down (or answer the teacher’s question) and you can’t remember anything you were going to say? … … …

Anyway, our cottage, well more like our camp, is orange. Yes, like bright, eye-popping orange, and I think -though I can’t exactly remember- but I think it has a dark evergreeny trim. When I get the chance I’ll post a picture. But it really makes you wonder about the sanity of the previous owners… and of the present ones I guess, for not changing it. To add to this…

1. The floor is not flat. I’m serious! Yes I know that sounds ridiculous but it is true, most of the flooring has at least a 30 degree tilt to it if not more. I personally have no problem with it but my dad is not a fan.

2. The ceilings are randomly designed, like the one in my room doesn't match the one in the kitchen (which is right outside my door)

3. The dryer doesn't dry ANYTHING!!!!!!

4. The washer and dryer are both in my bedroom

5. This may just be me, but I think the silverware looks funny.

After unpacking we to the grocery store to get some food and I spent most of that time trying to keep the boys under-control and talking to or texting Mac. SOOOOOOOOOOOO many French speaking people, the store was packed.

I was then able to steal Mac and we walked to Moody beach with my family. We hung out there for a while then walked back to Mac's camper. I was able to stay for dinner, so we went to the pool at their camp ground. And Mac, my idiot boyfriend, (just kiddin Baybay) went swimming with his phone... and not just a in-and-out kinda thing but really swimming! Amazingly enough it still works!!!!! We had buffalo bergers for dinner then we toasted marshmellows. It was really fun.

Some pictures of last night's sun set that mom insisted I photograph. It was really pretty, ten times better than my photos let on.
Today has been pretty much uneventful. I read, knitted, did laundry, listed to my book on tape, did laundry, texted a few people, did laundry, and got yelled at... pretty much a typical day. Oh yeah and I packed for Maine!!!!! We are leaving tomorrow morning and it will probably be a three hour drive, but then I get to see Mac!!!!!!! Speaking of which I should go finish before I am eaten...

Beads, Beads, and More Beads

I have been soooo busy, well, actually not really. I have just been doing arts and crafts when ever I can, which is most of the day. It started off as just doing purler beads whenever Mac came over just for something to do, but now that I started using wire it had evolved into something very different... which is why I haven't posted in a couple of days.

Now, the pictures I promised... This is the hotel that over looks the stadium. I wish I could have watched the game from inside rather than out because it was soooo hot!
Pretty self-explanatory... home plate
Robert eating what has to be THE worst hamburger on earth! In his words, "McDonald's is way better... except for the fries" which he had with the burger.
One of the few pictures of Mac that I have taken that he actually likes... He is so vain for a guy!!!
I'm totally kidding Mac! but really he's not very photogenic.

The first is a picture of the restaurant's interior, which was really cool. Apparently they got all the decor from Mexico. The next is Robert, Mac, and I before dinner. And the last is the really awesome lamps they had.

Fisher Cats Game

For those who, like my mom, are wondering what a fisher cat actually looks like here is a picture for you.
If you read the post before this you know that today my parents took Mac my brothers and I to see a Fisher Cats baseball game. It was a lot more fun than I expected it to be. The last time I went to a game was when I was nine, and I've never been much of a baseball fan, but the Fisher Cats won and it was pretty exciting.
After the game we went to Margaritas for dinner. It was REALLY good. I cant remember the name of what I had but it was a salad with chicken, avocado, veggies, and amazing Italian dressing. Then we walked around a bit and watched a couple minutes of a CATS rehersal.
Not much happend after that. I have pics but mom wants me off the computer and I should go before she eats me...post tommorrow... later.

Bits and Pieces

Yay! Mac you read my post. Today was soooo hot! We finally have an air conditioner, but aside from dehumidifying slightly it doesn't do too much. I babysat for a couple hours today and we spent a lot of time outside either in a mini kiddy pool or a swing set in the shade. Other than that my day has been pretty much uneventful.
I knit and listened to my audio-book which I'm almost done with and it is amazing, Jonalyn if your reading I would totally recommend it to you. The baby blanket is coming along well and I haven't had to rip any more out recently, so cross your fingers that it wont happen again.
Tomorrow I get to see a Fisher Cats game with Mac and I'm kind-of excited, but I'm not huge on baseball so... who knows. Anyway its 9:40 so... good night!

Got Permission

To start this off...
Jonalyn, if your reading this, its your fault... To clarify, after you made me read Cruel Summer - which by the way was absolutely terrible! The main character totally disgusted me! - I got the idea of keeping a blog of the last weeks of summer, and look who's on my VIP list for reading!
So, after a couple days research and bugging mom she finally gave me the OK and here I am! For your reading pleasure... and I suppose your editing and criticizing pleasure too, no doubt!
